Amy Palmer

Amy Palmer, Director of Operations, is originally from Austin, Minnesota where she grew up in the restaurant business with her family. In 1996 she graduated from St Olaf College, a private college in Northfield, Mn. with a degree in Business Communications. Her sales/marketing started with the Star Tribune where she was a sales representative for national accounts such as Cub,Holiday, SuperAmerica, and Brueggers. This career led her to work for SuperValu as a marketing consultant for Cub Foods Private Label Department by developing the entire marketing approach for their products which included the development, branding, and all P.O.P needed to make it a success. She got married in 1997, and moved to Tonka Bay, Minnesota where she now lives with her husband and her two sons.

   

Amy started up ATP Maintenance while she was in college in order to get money for her first investment property in St. Paul. While working in the corporate world she kept developing her business until 2000 when the business was growing into a successful enterprise that needed two full time owners. Amy and her husband left the corporate world in order to manage their business of painting, cleaning, and carpet cleaning within the residential and commercial markets which launched from their experience in owning rental properties. In 2001, they sold their portfolio of 30 properties and reorganized their business in order to focus more on the renovating of hotels, apartment and office buildings.

Amy takes an integral role in everyday operations in order to keep ATP Hotel Renovation running on all cylinders, but her major role is the sales and marketing of new projects. ATP Hotel Renovation has grown into a multi million dollar business that has provided the hospitality industry with superior workmanship and integrity on all levels. Our Reputation is built through a strong team of industry experts and family.

Thad Palmer

Thad Palmer, Director of Projects, grew up in St. Cloud, MN.  He graduated from Hamline University in St. Paul with two degrees, in both Political Science and Economics.  He purchased his first rental property while still in college, and built up his rental property business to 30 properties before he turned 30 years of age.  Despite his educational and business background as a stockbroker and financial consultant, he decided that he enjoyed the hands-on aspect of working on the properties as opposed to managing them, and ATP Maintenance was born to assist other property owners with their building maintenance issues.  Thad has over 15 years of painting and sheetrock experience in both the apartment turnover and hospitality industry.

   

He has now been managing the projects for over 10 years, and his expertise allows ATP Hotel Renovation to offer solid expertise on every level of the project. We believe that constant communication is essential and we do this through laptops, phones, digital cameras, and other portable devices well on the job site so we can service you the customer as accurately and promptly as possible.

Thad and Amy have lived in Tonka Bay for 10 years now, and in those ten years their family has grown to a group of over 50 people that each have over 10 years of experience in their areas of expertise. We believe that you can only be as good as the people that surround you.
